Quilting Across the Dakotas  IN PERSON shop hop runs July 22-August 28, 2026. This year we have  49 participating quilt shops across North and South Dakota (for a list click HERE). 

Starting July 1th, you can purchase a $10 shop guide from any participating shop.  You will receive a FREE Quilt Dakota project bag with your purchase!  You can't collect any stamps until the start of the event (7/22).  BUT register your shop guide online (HERE) with the code found on page 5 to be entered in all the weekly prizes.

You must have your shop guide with you to  enter door prize drawings and collect stamps.  You can only get stamps for your book.  No exceptions!

Shop!

1. Weekly prizes.  Register your book 1x to be entered to win all the remaining weekly prizes! (HERE)  We will have 10 prizes from July 15-September 2.  Prizes are at valued at about $100 each!

2. Quilt Dakota Shoppers & Hoppers.  Share your shop hop journey on our Facebook group for a chance to win a Quilt Dakota prize pack!

3. Earned Prizes.  For each shop you visit using the event you can collect a stamp.  The more stores you visit, the more prizes you earn!  

Visit 10 Shops: Moda Charm Pack & Quilt Dakota Sticker Sheet valued at $15

Visit 20 Shops: QD Mister Bottle, Binding Spool, and 3 FreeSpirit FQs valued at $30

Visit 30 Shops: Custom ND or SD “Paint Your State Quilt” Wood Kit valued at $40

Visit 40 Shops: Benartex Fabric Quilt Kit valued at $75

Visit ALL Shops: ALL above, PLUS Shannon Fabrics FINISHED Blanket valued at $125!

That is over $250 in prizes for visiting 44 shops!  WOW!

Quilt!

Weeky prizes.  Winner will be draw from all participaties with registered Shop Guides.  Watch Facebook for the weekly drawings!  Additionally, we will call or contact you directly if you are a winner. 

Store door prizes.  Shops will drawn one winner after August 30.  Shop will arrange prize delivery with winner.

Earned prizes:

NEW THIS YEAR:  Your 10 shop prize can be picked up in shops!  If they are out, Quilt Dakota will mail it!

1. Once you are done visiting shops, fill out the Earned Prize Form (HERE).

2. Scan or take pictures of the Shop Listing pages (please make sure your name and phone number are on each page) in the Shop Guide.  Email it to  this address:

3. Return to any participating shop  and they can log your entries!

All prizes (earned and others) will be shipped at the end of the event (by the end of Sept).   Please note: prizes can be substituted.
