Ready to hit the road? Here is all the information you need:
How do I participate? First, purchase a $10 Shop Guide from any participating shop! You will recieve a FREE Quilt Dakota project bag with your shop guide!
You have three ways to win/earn prizes:
Weekly Drawings: Register your 2026 Shop Guide using the code on page two by going to www.quiltdakota.com or scanning the QR code. Once you have registered your book, you will be entered into all (remaining) weekly drawings. We will post the winners on the website and Facebook. Winners will be notified
Thank You Gift with Purchase: Make a $25 or more purchase from participating shops and receive a FREE Fat 6th of fabric. Collect fabrics to create your custom “Country Christmas” fabric bundle! We will have a “Sew and Tell” in September using these fabrics and more prizes!
Earned Prizes: Gather stamps on the Shop Listing pages to earn up to 5 prizes! Once you have completed your hopping*, go to quiltdakota.com and click on the "Earned Prize Entry Form" for instructions OR ask any participating shop for assistance with submitting your shop guide.

Quilting Across the Dakotas IN PERSON shop hop runs July 22-August 28, 2026. This year we have 49 participating quilt shops across North and South Dakota (for a list click HERE).
Starting July 1th, you can purchase a $10 shop guide from any participating shop. You will receive a FREE Quilt Dakota project bag with your purchase! You can't collect any stamps until the start of the event (7/22). BUT register your shop guide online (HERE) with the code found on page 5 to be entered in all the weekly prizes.
You must have your shop guide with you to enter door prize drawings and collect stamps. You can only get stamps for your book. No exceptions!

Weekly prizes. Register your book 1x to be entered to win all the remaining weekly prizes! (HERE) We will have 10 prizes from July 15-September 2. Prizes are at valued at about $100 each!
Quilt Dakota Shoppers & Hoppers. Share your shop hop journey on our Facebook group for a chance to win a Quilt Dakota prize pack!
Earned Prizes. For each shop you visit using the event you can collect a stamp. The more stores you visit, the more prizes you earn!

Store door prizes. Shops will drawn one winner after August 30. Shop will arrange prize delivery with winner.

NEW THIS YEAR: Your 10 shop prize can be picked up in shops! If they are out, Quilt Dakota will mail it!
Once you are done visiting shops, fill out the Earned Prize Form (HERE).
Scan or take pictures of the Shop Listing pages (please make sure your name and phone number are on each page) in the Shop Guide. Email it to this address:

Return to any participating shop and they can log your entries!
All prizes (earned and others) will be shipped at the end of the event (by the end of Sept). Please note: prizes can be substituted.
